Since 2015, we have partnered with  our sister non-profit, International Inspiration, to build the Bayiby Cultural Arts Academy in Maferenya, Guinea, just outside of Conakry. This school is being built in honor of Fode's father, Djibril Morlaye Camara, called Bayiby, who has been a pillar of Guinean artists and a vocal activist for the artists since the time of Sekou Toure. Once built, the academy and surrounding land will not only serve as the home base for Fode and his team, but it will be home to only a small handful of art schools in Guinea. This school will serve the local community with math, reading, science, and history curriculum that will be enriched with every day music and dance classes from local teachers and artists.
